Veteran actress Sujatha (58) has passed away yesterday morning in Chennai. She acted many languages like Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam around in 300 films.
This great actress has become popular in Telugu with Gorintaku and Guppedu Manasu films. She has shared screen beside many great actors such as NTR, ANR, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Shobhan Babu, Krishna etc.
'Normally she used to come for dialysis every three days. She was supposed to come for dialysis yesterday. She did not turn up. We were expecting her today, when we heard the news that she breathed her last at her residence at around 2 pm ', hospital sources said.
Since Sujatha had been on dialysis for a long time, the potassium level in blood would have gone up, resulting in a sudden cardiac arrest, the sources said.
