News About Sri Ramanavami At Badrachalam ( Khammam ) { Andhra Pradesh } :-

KHAMMAM: Governor E S L Narasimhan and chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy are among several VVIPs expected to witness the celestial wedding and other holy rituals at Bhadrachalam during Sri Ram Navami on April 12.

Sri Sitarama kalyana mahotsavam and Sri Rama samrajya pushkara pattabhisheka mahotsavam would be held on April 12 and 13. The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the festival in the temple town. District medical and health department has set up six round-the-clock medical camps in the vicinity of the temple to provide necessary medicare in case of any emergency.

The temple town is decorated with colorful festoons, lights, arches and other paraphernalia. Devotional songs are being played on important thoroughfares in the town. District collector Siddhartha Jain has directed the excise officials to strictly enforce ban on the sale of liquor for three days during the festivities.



Sri Rama Navami Pooja Procedure | Sri Ram Navami Puja Vidhanam

Ram Navami or Sri Rama Navami is the Jayanti of Lord Sri Ram, the Lord of Ramayana and the most ancient Management Guru. Here is the simple Ram Navami puja procedure or Pooja vidhanam. In 2011, Ram Navami date is 12 April. For any puja, neatness is the most important thing. Firstly, clean your house and puja place. Many devotees observe severe fast on this day and after doing puja they take Prasad. Now, let’s know how to do Rama Navami puja.

1. Let us start Sri Rama Puja with Dhyanam (Dhyana slokam)

4. Clean your hands, feet and mouth offer water to Lord Rama and his parivara for cleaning their hands, feet and mouth.

16. Pray for the welfare of the all the creatures in the whole universe

17. Offer a flower as a nice bed to Lord Rama. Also remember our guru and chant the santhi manthram thanking them for conducting this puja without any hassle.

18. Take the thirtham and drink while chanting the slokam before taking thirtham (charanamruth). Do this three times separately.

19. Take prasadam for yourself and also distribute it to everyone who are there during Puja and also welcome other devotees and distribute thirtham and prasada.

Some devotees also perform Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam (celestial wedding of Sita and Lord Sri Ram) on Rama Navami. Ram Navami is also the culmination day of Ram Navratri. The idols worshipped during Navratri are moved to other place as per some traditions and some immerse the idols in water and some take them to nearest temple to keep there.
