Quite a few of the users have had issues with the .rm to .mp3 converter software Switch. I personally tested this software on 3 different computers, and it worked fine for me everytime. I visited the 'technical support' section of its website, and there are a few points mentioned there that might help those with this problem. They are:
- Switch can convert .rm to .mp3 on Windows only
- Check that you have the correct sound card selected in the Switch Converter settings
- Check that your sound card is operating properly by playing an audio file using Windows Media Player
- Check that you have installed the latest Real Audio Player (version 6 or above) from www.real.com
Remember that most such issues occur due to not having the latest version of the software. So please go ahead and upgrade your Real Player and Switch if you haven't done that already.
I hope that solves the problem, which I can't be so sure of as I persoanlly don't have this problem.
Please let us know about any other free audio converters that you are aware of. I would really appreciate that.
