Music is a medium that touches us on the emotional level. It has the power to rapidly change our emotional states and intensify or diffuse our emotions. A song can take us from sitting quietly at a corner to jumping up and down our couch in minutes. And fortunately Bollywood has been giving us great music to match almost any emotion we could ever feel, and every occasion we can ever think of. Vinkash over at Desi Fun has compiled a list of the Saddest Hindi Songs with the video for each song. He has mentioned some of my favorite songs. The list is as such:
- Jaane Kahan Gaye Woh Din from Mera Naam Joker
- Waqt Karta Jo Wafa from Dil Ne Pukara
- Dost Dost Na Raha from Sangam
- Jeena Yahan Marna Yaha from Mera Naam Joker
- Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai from Shor
As you can see it is a short list and all songs are old ones. I'm sure there are some more old/new songs we could add to Vinkash's list. I can't really think of any right now.
